HAEMO-LASER

What is a Haemo laser for?

Even today, the treatment of diabetic neuropathy is a major challenge in patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. The treatment of metabolic background (blood sugar normalizing, Thiogamma, Milgamma) is now solved, but the management of the underlying vascular problem which is due to the narrowing of the capillary system directly supplying neurons.

During Haemo-laser treatment, by dilating this capillary system and increasing the flexibility of red blood cells, the oxygen supply is increased which significantly reduces complaints and improves the quality of life. The treatment increases the elasticity of red blood cell membranes, accelerate their regeneration, and significantly reduces the aggregation of red blood cells and the friction of blood. Lipoprotein lipase activity increases and NO levels increase too. The redox balance improves.

How is the treatment done?

During the treatment, the blood is illuminated directly in the elbow vein with red, low-energy laser light in the visible range.

The treatment is painless, lasts 20 to 25 minutes per session and it is recommended twice weekly for 5 weeks, mainly for the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, diabetic angiopathy (peripheral vasoconstriction, retinopathy) or diabetic foot (supplemented by superficial laser light treatment).
